The Holiday Shuffle: A Brief Intermission

You know how I treat travel logistics like a strategy game? Well, the next few weeks require a whole different level of tactical planning. Between navigating Michigan winter weather, wrapping gifts, and coordinating family schedules that are more complex than a multi-stop road trip, things are getting a little busy over here at W4L7 Travels.

I wanted to give you a quick heads-up that things might be a little quiet on the blog for the next month or so. I’m just slowing down a bit to focus on the holidays and recharge.

I also have a confession to make: The idea tank is running a little low.

Looking back at the past three months (and 15 articles!), I’ve covered a lot of ground, from packing strategies to road trip connectivity. But right now, I’m hitting a bit of a wall on what to write about next. I want to make sure I’m publishing content that actually helps you travel smarter, not just filling space.

So, I’m asking for a little roadside assistance.

What do you want to read about in 2026? Are you looking for more no-nonsense gear reviews? Deep dives into travel apps that actually work? Or perhaps more “Travelogue” style breakdowns of specific road trip routes, like our Yellowstone adventures? Or something completely new?

👉Please drop your requests, questions, or random thoughts in the comments below. Help me set the GPS coordinates for next year.

In the meantime, I wouldn’t leave you hanging without one last tactical win to close out the week.

Coming this Friday: I’m breaking down exactly how I use Google Flights. I’ll show you the specific features and price-tracking strategies I use to snag airfare deals that feel like cheat codes. If you want to save serious cash on your upcoming travel plans, you won’t want to miss it.

Talk to you Friday, and thanks for the help!
